C. Richard Newsome Selected As One Of Florida’s Legal Elite By Florida Trend Magazine

Orlando, FL(September 15, 2004) – C. Richard Newsome, managing partner of the Newsome Law Firm, has been selected by Florida Trend Magazine as one of Florida’s 2005 Legal Elite for civil trial work. This is the second consecutive honor for Newsome.

This second edition of Florida Trend's Florida Legal Elite names the top lawyers who have earned the trust and confidence of those who know their work the best. The 2004 group represented the top 1.6% of the 54,135 Florida Bar members who practice in the state. Honorees are nominated and voted on by their peers in the legal profession.

Newsome is highly published in his area of specialty, products liability law, and was recently named in the Best Lawyers in America national publication, and awarded an AV Rating, the highest rating an attorney can receive, by Martindale-Hubbell. He is currently President of the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association, serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association, and actively participates in several areas of the American Association for Justice, including the Committee on Scientific and Medical Integrity and products liability section. He is a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Florida school of law.
